About 1,00,000 persons will find seasonal jobs in Amazon soon as the company announced to hire workforce to meet the shortage of staff in the upcoming holiday season.
The new employees will be given roles across the company's shipping warehouses and sorting centers in the U.S. Among these, about 25,000 will be later absorbed for permanent jobs.
Recording a dip in the third quarter profits, IBM’s share values also tumbled in the market by about 4% today. The company has been seeing a downward trend in the revenue and lowered its full year estimations.
During the quarter that ended September, IBM’s revenue went down by 14% on a year on year basis to $19.3 billion. This record was lower than the estimated $19.63 billion scale.
