Customers doubt to receive same privileges after Marriott acquires Starwood Hotels & Resorts

Loyalty of frequent customers of Starwood Hotels & Resorts is all together at different level. They are reacting emotionally after knowing that it’s being acquired by Marriott. The Starwood Hotels & Resorts is known for pampering its most frequent customers in most amazing ways.

Among the luxuries provided by the company to its customers include- if one stays 25 nights a year at Starwood then they will get a checkout at 4pm. Those who stay at least 100 nights a year will be allotted a personal travel ambassador, who will look after their bookings and arranged customized perks.

Now, its customers doubt that they will be able to get good perks. Ryan Huff, a consultant from New York, who has stayed more than 100 nights a year in Starwood hotels since 2008, said that it is different level of comfort he feels with the level of personal attention being provided by the Starwood Preferred Guest.

Charley Cullen Walters, an Ambassador-level member from West Hollywood, California, said that the hotel will come to know about what you like and what not and all arrangements will be made accordingly. He loves chocolate-raspberry mousse and most Starwood hotels welcome him with that upon check-in. But with the latest news, it seems that he would not be able to enjoy such a level of care.

Across the world, Starwood has nearly 1,300 hotels. Starwood will allow Marriott to reward its customers at its different properties.
