Police release video of suspects in deadly shooting of Brooklyn teen

Police investigators probing the recent Brooklyn shooting that left a teen dead and another man injured, have released a video of suspects who fled the scene but were captured on a surveillance camera.

Isiah Joseph, 15, and a 20-year-old unidentified man were rushed to the Brookdale University Hospital & Medical Center after they were shot by the suspects at the corner of Avenue H and E. 56th Street in East Flatbush around 1:15 a.m. on Sunday.

Police said in a statement that Isiah was pronounced dead on arrival, while another victim was said to be in a stable condition. The teen was shot once in the back, and another man was shot once in the lower body.

According to the surveillance video released by police early Monday, the man wearing a black jacket and gray pants allegedly shot the two victims.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a woman who lives on Avenue H said the site of the shootings had been the scene of other troubles, including shootings, but otherwise the neighborhood was usually calm.

Investigators believe that the shooting incident was related to a gang-rivalry. They urged anyone with relevant information about the shooting to immediately call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
