Air Pollution Kills 3.3 Million People every year across the Globe

Around 180,000 people die because of air pollution in the European Union every year. Jason West, a professor of environmental science at the University of North Carolina, said that this number is higher than the count scientists expected about a decade ago. It seems surprising to know that 16,221 deaths are caused by agriculture, which is second to 16,929 deaths caused by power plants.
