Jury favors VC firm Kleiner Perkins in Ellen Pao Gender Discrimination Case

A California jury has ruled in favor of Silicon Valler venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in a gender discrimination lawsuit filed by ex-employee Ellen Pao. In the lawsuit against one of the best venture capital firms, Pao alleged that she was denied promotion as a partner in the firm due to gender discrimination.

An Albany teen with Cerebral Palsy will get a new wheelchair from Latham-based Monroe Wheelchair, after someone stole hers last week.

Fourteen-year-old Rockelle "Rocky" Valentino's wheelchair was stolen by someone from in front of her Winthrop Avenue home.

On the day the wheelchair was stolen, her sister said, "She said she's very sad and she wants to go to school."
