On Wednesday, law firm Weitz & Luxenberg released a statement where it announced that Speaker Sheldon Silver will no longer work for the firm. The speaker has defended himself against charges that stated that the speaker has used his power to drive business for the firm. As per charges, Silver had been receiving a portion of the profits in return from the firm.
On Thursday, a judge revoked American recording artist and dancer Chris Brown's probation. According to the judge, the artist should not have left Los Angeles County to perform in California’s San Jose without getting permission from the court. The judge revoked probation, but allowed ‘Don't Wake Me Up’ singer to remain free until March.
